Inspired by a deep respect for the brave men and women who have served our country, Guadalupe Ponte founded Scars to Freedom with a simple but powerful mission—to help veterans heal from the visible reminders of their sacrifice. After witnessing the lasting physical and emotional impact that combat injuries can have, she was driven to create an organization dedicated to restoring confidence, dignity, and hope through compassionate scar treatment and support.
Under her leadership, Scars to Freedom is committed to honoring those who have served by providing life-changing care, advocating for veterans, and ensuring that every hero knows their sacrifice is recognized, valued, and never forgotten.
